The Mushin Museum Volunteer Programme

Many thanks for the recent interest in the Mushin Museum & fantastic to see so many of you at the recruitment drive event last month.

This introductory newsletter is really just a quick hello and to give a quick progress report.

Next Local Schools Open Day Event

We are hoping to hold the next Local Schools Open Day event in the Spring term (early March 2014). If you are still interested in helping out at this event please email huckledl@cf.ac.uk.

Collection Management- books, books & more books!

We have a growing collection of historical anaesthesia & medicine reference books that are in need of cataloguing .

Recently, we have been donated a large collection of books and teaching material by Professor Rosen (retired consultant anaesthetist- read about his fantastic achievements here (page 9): http://www.aagbi.org/sites/default/files/oct09_1.pdf) and in January 2014 we will begin development of the Mushin Museum library- any help would be much appreciated! The date will be announced shortly.
