Chongwe: the real picture
16 September 2014You’ve seen my cheap and cheerful i-phone photos of the latest Mothers of Africa trip. They’ve at least kept you up to date. Now however, why don’t you check you Paul Crompton’s marvellous photos on our Flickr site: www.flickr.com/photos/gozambia/
What will you see?
- The people struggling to live and work in very tough places, maintaining great dignity
- Families doing their very best for their loved ones
- Mothers of Africa doctors from the NHS in Wales and from Slovenia, hard at work with local doctors and nurses in collaboration and friendship
- Mothers of Africa engineers from Cardiff University building a sustainable solar future for those without energy
- Our teacher from Monaco, training the young volunteer teachers of Shiyala: helping them help themselves
- And loaned to Mothers of Africa from Cardiff School of Art and Design:
An artist opening up new opportunities, helping villagers gain a new and confident voiceOur textile expert, sharing skills to empower womenOur designer bringing appropriate technology to Africa, medical products accessible for all
Well done and thanks for the photos Paul. I’ve put a taster below.
