A Celebration: Python Namibia 2015
11 February 2015Python Namibia is over, after a huge effort of will by all concerned, it was an enormous success. As it closed the students of Namibia formed PyNam: its over to them now, the future’s in their hands.
Supporting Dr Mufeti, her splendid students and fellow Namibians, were delegates from Wales, the UK, Europe and North America. We had tremendous supporters: DIVIO, Aptivate, GitHub, Dutch Django Association, Python Software Association, Providenz Web Engineering and Two Scoops Press. The over whelming feeling from those attending is of being privileged to be part of the future of these Namibians, privileged to help in some way. Daniele says it’s the best week of his life, now that’s something for a man so cosmopolitan.
I thought we would have a final celebration in photographs. Here’s to Python 2016, its going to be quite something!
