Graduation Outfit Ideas: Ladies

You may be wondering what to wear to graduation, and if you’ve seen our guest blog post by blogger Mia Holt, then you know that it’s best to avoid low cut neck lines and short skirts. It’s likely that your graduation day will be a long one, so it’s important to stay comfortable.

We’ve picked out a few outfit ideas that can be bought at a number of retailers:

This white linen blend dress can be purchased from M&S.It’s perfect for formal occasions and can be teamed with a blazer or cardigan of any colour – and even better, it’s in the sale! £23.

This pale pink jacket is a perfect layer. Team it with a neutral dress for a smart look, or co-ordinate it with similar colours to stand out. It’s available in a number of other colours too. £35

nancyMaxi dresses are all the rage at the moment, and this bold dress from Elsie & Arthur is no different. With an elasticaited back, this dress is a comfortable fit but still looks glamorous. It also comes in other colours, but this red version matches the Cardiff University colours perfectly. £32

You’ll want to be donning comfortable shoes, but you may also want the added height that comes with heels.

The solution? Wedges. These open toe wedges from New Look are neutral but summery.

 

 

For something a bit smarter, these point shoes from Next are ideal. They come in a whopping 7 colours, such as jade, pink, black, and snakeskin. There’s bound to be something to suit your outfit.
