\nTell us about why you chose to study abroad:
\n<\/strong>I always intended to spend time abroad after seeing the opportunity whilst first applying to university via UCAS, but I can’t say I had any particular location in mind. For most of my childhood, my family was moving between and within other countries, and it certainly rubbed off on how I grew up. Living abroad can hugely change your outlook on almost anything, and for the most part, I wanted to “redo” it as an adult with a greater understanding and appreciation for it.

\n<\/strong>What are you looking forward to the most about your upcoming exchange placement?<\/strong>
\nEverything feeling new and different, and making friends and connections from around the world.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s something from your home culture you\u2019re excited to share abroad?
\n<\/strong>Welsh Cakes, and the little bit of Welsh that I know.<\/p>\n

How would you describe your personality in three words?<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Sociable, laid-back, and adventurous<\/p>\n

What is the one thing you think you will miss most about Cardiff\/home?
\n<\/strong>I live in a small town not far from Cardiff, so probably the mix of going into a capital city for university and coming home to somewhere more rural and peaceful.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

What do you like about Cardiff – as a city and University?
\n<\/strong>As a university, I like how close the main campus is to the city centre, how personable and talkative the staff in my school are, and I really like how upfront and supportive the university is of going abroad, because it’s made the process much easier to navigate.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

What’s one goal you hope to achieve during your time abroad?
\n<\/strong>Learn a bit of skiing!<\/p>\n
