What are your highlights from your time in Cardiff so far?<\/h4>\n

My highlights in Cardiff have been game days of the 6 Nations Rugby tournament. I find the team spirit and national pride of the Welsh to be very exciting and fun to engage with, especially at the pub on game days. I have also really enjoyed participating in hikes around the Cardiff area with the hiking club.<\/p>\n

Can you tell us about the learning and teaching environment at Cardiff University?<\/h4>\n

I found that the learning and teaching environment was very structured and easy to understand as a student. I greatly appreciate when learning goals and application of skills is apparent in teaching, and I found this to be the case in all of my modules at Cardiff.<\/p>\n

Can you tell us about student life on campus, including the Student’s Union? Have you got involved in any clubs or societies?<\/h4>\n

I think that student life at Cardiff was a great step up from what I am used to at my home institution. There are constantly activities and events available to students, with a wide range of focuses and interests. I found that having a student pub (the Taf) was a great way to make me feel a part of the student body, as I was able to regularly attend trivia nights and meet other Cardiff students in a relaxed and fun environment. I joined the hiking club and the drum and bass society.<\/p>\n

What can you tell us about being in Wales and the Welsh culture?<\/h4>\n

I loved Welsh culture! I found the Welsh people to be incredibly welcoming and easy to talk with, which made my time there very fun. The Welsh are very proud of their identity which makes sporting events a fun occasion!<\/p>\n

Can you sum up your experience in one sentence?<\/h4>\n

I got to explore the world from a place that quickly felt like home.<\/p>\n
