Bienvenue\u00a0\u00e0 mon deuxi\u00e8me blog pour LingoMap !\u00a0Ayant\u00a0\u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9 le sujet\u00a0plut\u00f4t g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du divertissement et les\u00a0loisirs, je\u00a0vais parler\u00a0de mes voyages\u00a0\u00e0 la fois en France et ailleurs cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Annecy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Annecy, a small town in the Alps is one of the first places I visited during my time in France, and is literally like stepping into a real life fairytale. It has an old town filled with brightly coloured buildings and cobbled streets, and right in the centre there’s a floating castle in the middle of the river called ‘le palais de l’isle’ (literally translates to ‘the island palace’. Nearby there is a massive lake with incredible views of the mountains, which we saw people going round in little pedal boats (needless to say I gave that one a miss). Also, here is where I tried fondue for the first time which was amazing!<\/p>\n

Gen\u00e8ve\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Avant mon ann\u00e9e\u00a0\u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger, je n’ai jamais visit\u00e9 la Suisse, mais c’est seulement 2 heures de Lyon donc je devais profiter de l’occasion ! Premi\u00e8rement on a vu le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre lac de Gen\u00e8ve, qui a une vue magnifique sur les montagnes, et m\u00eame Mont Blanc s’il fait beau. En outre il ya le jet d’eau au milieu du lac qu’on peut voir de n’importe o\u00f9 dans la ville. Aussi on a visit\u00e9 la vieille ville et le cath\u00e9drale o\u00f9 on a pay\u00e9 5 francs pour une vue ‘panoramique’ de la ville, mais c’\u00e9tait plus de 300 marches dans un\u00a0escalier en colima\u00e7on\u00a0\u00e9troit (mais\u00a0\u00e7a valait le coup). En plus,\u00a0\u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve il y a l’un des si\u00e8ges de l’ONU et on a fait une visite qui\u00a0\u00e9tait si int\u00e9ressant.<\/p>\n

Paris<\/strong><\/p>\n

I had been to Paris a couple of times before, but I really wanted to go again as there were still a number of places I wanted to see. By far my favourite place that I saw this time was Montmartre, which wasn’t actually at top\u00a0of my list originally, but after ticking off everything else and having ended up having a few hours left until my coach to Lyon the next day so I decided to give it a visit. Firstly, I went to see the Sacr\u00e9 Coeur which has such a lovely view of the whole city from the top. Then, being the Am\u00e9lie obsessed French student I am, I went and found some of the places it was filmed, including the Caf\u00e9 des 2 Moulins.<\/p>\n

Grenoble<\/strong><\/p>\n

J’ai visit\u00e9 Grenoble sur l’un des jours le plus pluvieux que j’ai jamais vu dans ma vie. S\u00e9rieusement. La ville est la plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour les bulles t\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9riques, qui vous am\u00e8ne au sommet de la colline de la Bastille, une forteresse. Monter la colline dans le\u00a0t\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique\u00a0\u00e9tait assez effrayant, surtout car j’ai peur des hauteurs!<\/p>\n

La f\u00eate des lumi\u00e8res (the Lyon light festival) is a festival held in Lyon every year where all the cities main buildings are lit up with really cool light shows. It is definitely one of the busiest\u00a0things that I’ve ever been to, since people from all over the world come to see it every year. My favourite one that I saw\u00a0has got to be the old town (pictured below)<\/p>\n
