The Eagle has Landed!

I left my house at 6:45 on Saturday morning and caught a coach to Heathrow airport, after an 11 hour flight I arrived in Colombo. As I walked out of the airport the humidity hit me, even at 5:30 in the morning!I waited in a nearby hotel for 3 other girls to arrive then we set off on a 4 hour trip up to Anuradhapura.
We arrived at the Work the World House to be greeted by the staff team and one girl who had already be staying there a week by herself.
We had a house tour, briefing and evening meal. Time now to catch up on some sleep and prepare for what lies ahead tomorrow!
