Tell us about yourself and what motivated you to take up a year/semester abroad in Cardiff?

I am a third year undergraduate student majoring in English Education in Beijing Normal University. The English language environment is of vital importance to me, being a English major student. I desired to know the life and culture in the UK.

Can you tell us about the learning and teaching environment at Cardiff University?

I do appreciate the academic environment in Cardiff University. The teachers are amiable, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The schoolmates are considerate and kind. The facilities in the school buildings are magnificent and updated. The ‘academic study skills’ series of courses are helpful and clear the blocks in my study.

What advice would you give to other students when applying for the programme?

I will recommend other students to get to know more information from the previous exchange students.

What would you say to a student who was unsure about coming to study at Cardiff University?

DO NOT HESITATE ! If you do, give it a go.
