What motivated you to take up a semester abroad in Cardiff?

I was interested in visiting the UK because it was a place that I didn’t know much about and because I had heard that Wales and Cardiff were beautiful places to explore.

What are your highlights from your time in Cardiff?

I was able to explore a lot of the areas surrounding Cardiff. I found that the train was really easy to use to get various places in Wales and England, and I tried to take advantage of that as much as possible. The British coastline is probably one of the most beautiful places I’ve been so I am very grateful that I was able to access and explore it.

Can you tell us about student life on campus, including the Student’s Union? Have you got involved in any clubs or societies?

I joined the Ladies Football club (CULF) and participated in IMG. This was such a wonderful experience as I met so many amazing girls and had such a fun time with everyone in the program. The socials and events were also very fun and inclusive, and I would absolutely recommend joining a society of any kind.
