There could be lots for us to do (depending how we chose to respond to the recommendation) and it reaches from HR to communications, across libraries, research offices, academics and professional services. It is quite nice timing though, given the ongoing work and anticipated report of Research Forward in September.
And it’s not just about research. With the likely introduction of a Teaching Excellence Framework, such a structure will do well do consider how metrics could are used. Could a TEF be entirely reliant on indicators?
