The Team

This project is a collaboration between four researchers from the universities of Cardiff, Leeds, Royal Holloway and Birmingham.

Dr Vivicky crewecky Crewe from Cardiff University, an archaeologist with specialisms in family, childhood in the past, domestic life and material culture (Principal Investigator).






Dr Laura King from the University of Leeds, a historian of family life, parenting and children in modern Britain (Co-Investigator). 





Dr Liz Gloyn liz gloynfrom Royal Holloway, a classicist who specializes in the concept of family in the Roman world and the reception of classics in the present day (Co-Investigator).




woodham-annaDr Anna Woodham from King’s College London (formerly at the University of Birmingham), a cultural heritage specialist with expertise in museum studies and public heritage (Co-Investigator).
