Some commentary…30 July 2019
I’ve had a few appearances in the media over the last few days, commenting on the latest Barometer poll and the broader current political situation.
Last Sunday I appeared on BBC Radio Wales, to speak on Vaughan Roderick’s Sunday Supplement show about prospects for the new government: you can find the show here (I appear just after the new bulletin) https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000751z
After the release of our new Welsh Political Barometer poll I had a fun time with Adrian Masters of ITV Wales recording the following piece, which ITV put out on their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0JuYMcbtEc&feature=youtu.be
Adrian and I were then joined by Delyth Jewell of Plaid Cymru for this week’s Sharp End show: you can watch the show here: https://www.itv.com/walesprogrammes/sharp-end/sharp-end-july-29th
To round out a busy Monday I also appeared on Radio 4’s The World Tonight to discuss ‘The Union’: you can find the show here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00075k0
And on Tuesday I appeared on Radio Wales again, speaking to Jason Mohammad: I come on just after 5:50 in the show available here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00075h2
To fill up my spare hours, I also wrote the following piece for the New Statesman, about Welsh Labour’s current travails: https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/staggers/2019/07/could-labour-s-century-long-dominance-welsh-politics-be-coming-end
I’ll be back later in the week with analysis of the Brecon and Radnor by-election.
