TED talks are one of the phenomena of the modern age. By getting experts to convey a single important idea or research finding in a short, accessible talk, they have attracted huge audiences. I’m a great fan of them myself, and have learned huge amounts from watching many TED talks.
I am very pleased to announce my first TED talk, at the forthcoming TEDx event in Aberystwyth.
I’ll be discussing democracy in the UK, and whether we are seeing the end of a genuinely British party politics? Are the different nations of the UK becoming separate political spaces – and did 2017 see the first post-British general election? And what does all this mean – for voters, for political parties, and for Britain itself?
