Introductions: Dr. Esther Wright

Dr. Esther Wright is Senior Lecturer in Digital History, and works in the field of Historical Game Studies. She researches the born-digital marketing strategies of historical video game developers, and the ways that these marketing discourses aim to construct claims for “historical authenticity” at the digital margins of contemporary video games.
