About us
The Institutional Archives’ collections include records from Cardiff University and its predecessor bodies – University College, Cardiff (formerly University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire); University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology; and University of Wales College of Medicine. The collections include letter books, photographs, newspaper cuttings, deeds, charters, minute books, plans, accounts, files and official publications such as prospectuses and programmes.
Cardiff University’s Institutional Archive is an integral part of the University Records Management Strategy delivered by the Governance & Compliance Division. The Archive is directly managed by the University’s Records Manager.
