This guide is specifically intended for Cardiff University conservation students and other individuals seeking packaging solutions for glass plate negatives. Cardiff University has received a set of glass plate negatives from The Brecknock Y Gaer Museum for conservation. Many of these objects have undergone or are scheduled for treatment. The objective of this guide is to establish a consistent approach to packaging and ensure continuity amongst Cardiff University students for the duration of the collaboration with Breknock. Implementing a standardized packaging method allows for the organized return of the glass plate negatives to the museum. To enhance accessibility for future students, this instructional guide will be published on the Cardiff University Conservation student-run blog.<\/p>\n
