After completing an MA in Ancient History from the University of St Andrews and wanting to get more actively involved in looking after the history she loved learning about, she is excited to get stuck in to the exciting and sometimes mildly terrifying world of conservation.<\/p>\n

Cal<\/span>\u00a0is a Conservation Practice Masters student at Cardiff University. With an undergraduate degree in Ecology and experience in wildlife conservation, he became interested in conserving objects during his time volunteering at Cardiff Museum, and decided to embrace the challenge of changing careers from one kind of conservation to another!<\/p>\n-o-<\/p>\n

Caitlin is a second-year MSc Conservation Practice student. She previously studied English Language and Literature at King’s College London, where a research fellowship based on early modern letters first sparked her fascination with conservation. Her interests include the ethics of conserving ephemeral objects and the application of heritage craft skills to conservation work.<\/p>\n

Katherine is a first year student on the MSc Conservation Practice course with a BA History from the University of Kent. She previously worked for English Heritage in the Collections Conservation team in London and the South East regions for six and half years, and decided to return to postgraduate study to diversify into interventive conservation.

Ellie is a Conservation Practice student here at Cardiff Univerisity. Having studied Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Arts, she is interested in translating the thought processes that she developed there into her conservation practice. Her work involves exploring the physicality of objects and our relationship with them as both conservators and viewers.<\/span><\/p>\n-o-<\/p>\n
