Upcoming 4th the Symposium on Ammonia Energy (SoAE) Conference at University of Minnesota
1 July 2025The University of Minnesota is hosting the 4th edition of SoAE, the premier international platform for presenting and discussing pioneering scientific and engineering developments in ammonia energy. This milestone event brings together leading researchers from across the globe, focusing on the role of green ammonia in the global energy transition.
The director of Net Zero Innovation Institute (NZII), Cardiff University’s Professor Agustin Valera-Medina is the Honorary Chair of the Scientific Committee for this prestigious Symposium.
The conference will explore important themes surrounding the production, transport, storage, and use of green ammonia for energy applications. The focus will be on:
- Ammonia as a fuel for stationary power generation.
- Applications in off-highway transportation sectors such as agriculture and mining, with specific relevance to Minnesota and surrounding U.S. states.
- Policy, safety, and technology roadmaps for global deployment.
The event will feature a mix of in-person and online presentations, inviting contributions from across the globe. Participants will also have the exclusive opportunity to tour one of the world’s most renowned ammonia energy research facilities, offering an exclusive glimpse of pioneering innovations in action.
