2025 | 4th Symposium on Ammonia Energy

The Symposium on Ammonia Energy (SoAE), 4th edition, took place in Minnesota, U.S.A. The event attracted 150 posters and presentations, with contributions from the industrial sector, academic organizations, and public bodies of the U.S.A.

We were delighted to welcome our international colleagues to the state of Minnesota—known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes,” a hub of agricultural innovation, and home to globally recognized research and industry.

Minneapolis, part of the dynamic Twin Cities region, offers a vibrant cultural scene, beautiful natural surroundings, and a strong tradition of scientific collaboration. We look forward to sharing both Midwestern hospitality and meaningful dialogue as we work together toward advancing ammonia energy for a sustainable future.

The Symposium on Ammonia Energy (SoAE) is the premier international forum for sharing and discussing the latest scientific and engineering developments in ammonia energy.

The University of Minnesota was proud to host the 4th SoAE in Minneapolis, MN, bringing together researchers and industry leaders from across the globe.  This year’s symposium will place special emphasis on ammonia as a fuel for stationary power generation and off-highway transportation applications – including agriculture and mining – industries that hold a critical presence in Minnesota and surrounding U.S. states.
