2026 | 5th Symposium on Ammonia Energy
The Symposium on Ammonia Energy is proud to be hosted by the University Pontificia Catolica de Chile, Chile, where our colleagues from the MIGA Institute will receive us to present, talk and discuss about the potential of using ammonia energy within Latin America.
Chile stretches from the Atacama Desert in the north to the glaciers of Patagonia in the south and is recognized worldwide for its exceptional renewable energy resources and mining industry. Our host city, Santiago, combines a vibrant cultural scene, modern infrastructure, and outstanding views of the Andes Mountains.
SoAE 2026 will take place at the Santiago Marriott Hotel in Las Condes, one of the city’s main business and innovation districts, with easy access to parks, restaurants, and public transportation. The venue offers modern conference facilities and a comfortable setting for focused discussions and networking.
Under the theme “Ammonia and Its Crucial Role in the Energy Transition”, the 5th Symposium on Ammonia Energy (SoAE) will run alongside the 3rd LATAM Meeting on Green Ammonia and Power-to-X, bringing together researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers to discuss advances in green ammonia, Power-to-X technologies, and sustainable energy systems in Latin America and beyond.
We warmly invite you to join us in Santiago on 28–30 September 2026 to share your latest results and help shape the future of ammonia energy. More details can be found in: https://soae.migacl.org/
