‘Photo of the week’ and ‘building of the week’ – on display

This academic year we are displaying a ‘photo of the week’, sourced from our extensive photobook collection, on a newly created display shelf in the study area below the thesis collection.

Selected photographers so far have included Bruce Gilden, Josef Koudelka, Nan Goldin and Martin Parr – with many more to follow. Keep an eye on the @butelibrary twitter account throughout the coming months where we’ll be publicising our weekly picks using the hashtag #potw. Or better still, have a browse through as you pass.

Up on the 2nd floor in the Architecture Library we are displaying a ‘building of the week’ on the display shelf next to the LibrarySearch terminal. Examples so far have included the Chicago Tribune Tower and Kazuo Shinohara’s Centennial Hall in Tokyo.
