With the EU (Withdrawal) Bill having received its 2nd reading the House of Commons and shortly before the Bill enters its committee stage for detailed consideration, Dr Jo Hunt, Professor Roger Scully and Dr Huw Pritchard from the Wales Governance Centre come together to discuss the questions raised by the Bill and provide analysis of what this means for government and the assembly from a Welsh perspective.
The podcast was recorded at a major conference organised by Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre and the Hansard Society. The EU (Withdrawal) Bill: Principles, Powers and Parliaments brought together leading parliamentarians and legal and constitutional specialists from across the UK to discuss the critical issues raised by the Bill and its prospects in the UK’s parliaments and assemblies. The Conference was funded by the ESRC UK in a Changing Europe initiative and the full programme can be found here.
