Useful if you are putting people in breakout rooms.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/206476313-Managing-Breakout-Rooms\">Breakout Room<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/206476313-Managing-Breakout-Rooms\">Creating rooms \u2013 vary the number of rooms to vary the number of participants<\/a> &#8211; up to 50 rooms are possible<\/li>\r\n<li>Host and co-hosts can moving from room to room<\/li>\r\n<li>Host can broadcast to all &#8211; at bottom of Breakout Rooms list.<\/li>\r\n<li>Host can go to Breakout rooms to answer calls for help.<\/li>\r\n<li>When you close room, there is a warning to members. Default delay is 60 seconds.<\/li>\r\n<li>Can re-open rooms with same groups or re-form for new groups.<\/li>\r\n<li>Text Chat within Breakout rooms is only in those rooms \u2013 not shared with everyone in the meeting!<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Virtual backgrounds<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Can be useful to protect other people in a room (minors especially)<\/li>\r\n<li>Can be useful to prevent sharing of the room you are in.<\/li>\r\n<li>Can be difficult depending on software etc.<\/li>\r\n<li>Done through Preferences in Zoom App.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Some extra things:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Chat can be saved as text.<\/li>\r\n<li>You can temporatry unmute with Spacebar<\/li>\r\n<li>Host can record \u2013 will save video to local hard drive.<\/li>\r\n<li>Do you have a picture of yourself if you&#8217;re not showing video? <a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/201363203-Customizing-your-profile\">This is done through the online Preferences. <\/a>It is useful and probably nice for other participants.<\/li>\r\n<li>Participants window can be used for polling and gives host and co-host a count of yes, no and other&#8230;<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/213756303-Polling-for-meetings\">Polls must be allowed in advance<\/a>. Can only be edited by the person who creates the meeting.
