UptoDate is a fantastic resource and very expensive to subscribe to personally. It is however tucked away on the Cardiff Uni website and perhaps could be advertised better. All my colleagues are desperate to access it and would have sooner if they had known. Lets get the most use out of it for everyone and improve patient care at the same time!

      HI Chris
Thanks for comments. We appreciate your view.
We’ve put it on the a-z here like all the other resources http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/insrv/eresources/databases/index.html#u
And we’ve got a page on the blog. We’ve sent mailshots to the trainee doctors and advertised it on the virtual learning environment for the undergraduates and also on our twitter feed. We will be running some training sessions as well in the future so that will also raise its profile and visibility.
If you have other suggestions I’d love to hear them- as I am aware many people say the same as you. Please also talk to your colleagues as I am sure personal recommendation goes a long way.

    Hello Mariann,
Maybe it would be useful to get an email sent around all the staff in Medic too. I only picked up through your blog. I think a lot of people might appreciate this so worth doing.
