SPSS is now available to download onto your computer
IBM SPSS Statistics is a comprehensive, easy-to-use set of data and predictive analytics tools used by members of staff and students here at Cardiff University.
SPSS has always been available as an application on the open-access PC workstations located around campus but you can now download a licensed copy of this popular application for use on your own computer.
Login with your network username and password at https://authdownloads.cf.ac.uk to download a copy of SPSS for both Windows based PCs and Apple Macs.
| Each version is supplied in ZIP file format and may need to be stored on a USB stick as each download is around 1GB in size (depending on the version you require).Please make sure you read the installation instructions (available as a link with each version) before downloading as these instructions explain how to install SPSS on your computer and also provide the licensing codes you will need to activate the software. | WindowsSPSS18 (PASW Statistics 18)

You should note that SPSS downloads are licensed until 1st August each year with license warning expiry messages displayed from the start of July.
By downloading a licensed copy from the Cardiff Authorised Downloads site you will receive a new authorisation code during July so you can continue to use SPSS for your work or whilst you study here at Cardiff University.
