Journal Citation Reports data for 2014 now live

24 June 2015

2015 Journal Citation Reports has been published which includes the 2014 metrics giving the latest data on journal useage.

You can access JCR via the Web of Science.

3 new metrics have been introduced:

  • Journal Impact Factor Percentile – providing a more granular view of Impact Factor quartile and a way to compare journals across categories.
  • Normalized Eigenfactor Score – designed to give us a picture of a journal’s influence across the whole research landscape rather than compared with like subjects.
  • % Articles in Citable Items  – illuminating how much of the journal’s published content is original research vs. reviews of the literature

You can also easily identify the metrics of Open access journals by sorting the results by Open Access status. Click more to learn what’s new.
