Free-of-charge Microsoft Office software for students

A new initiative from Microsoft to provide the Microsoft Office suite of software free of charge will be launched to current students studying at Cardiff University on Thursday 6th March.

The ‘Student Advantage’ scheme provides current students with free access to the complete Office 2013 suite (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook and OneNote) on up to five desktop / laptop devices, and additionally on up to five mobile devices.

Current students will be able to download the ‘Student Advantage’ Office suite from their web-based University email account from Thursday 6th March.
