Evaluating Information

28 October 2014

Evaluating information while you are at University (studying, teaching or researching)  😉  is a skill that you will explore and hone.

There are a few resources here in the library which we think will be REALLY valuable to you so we thought we’d highlight them here for you.

Click on the links to get to the ebooks- or search for them in LibrarySearch to find out where the hard copy is.

Greenhalgh T, How to read a paper: the basics of evidence based medicine. 2014

Ajetunmob O. Making Sense of Critical Appraisal  2002

Find the pyramid of evidence that we used in the presentation here:

www.ebmpyramid.org/images/pyramid.

If you need some help on how to reference- there are some guidelines here. Check your module handbook for which referencing style you are required to use.
