EndNote Top Tips – How to export all references to a word file – good for reading abstracts

21 June 2016

You can export everything in a folder or EndNote Library into a word file which is helpful if you are wanting to read on paper and sift through abstracts.

  • Go to EndNote
  • Select the references you want to export.
  • Choose the output style you want the references to be formatted in. (Select a Harvard based one if you need to see the abstract)
  • Go to file and select export.
  • Save the file as a text and then if you want you can copy and paste into Word for more formatting options.
