29 May 2019
Tue, 18 June 2019 09:00 – 17:00 BST
Queens Building, School of Engineering, 5 The Parade, Cardiff, CF24 3AA
The third Technical Staff Conference takes place on Tuesday 18th June this year and, as part of Cardiff University’s commitment to technical staff, we love to see as many of you there as possible. This year’s Technical Staff Conference will be held in the School of Engineering, Queens Building.
Technicians from all 3 colleges and professional services are invited to attend this one day conference which will provide opportunities to network with colleagues from many different schools. There will be a range of sessions to choose from including health and safety, wellbeing, and a supplier exhibition. This year we will offer longer sessions in the afternoon to provide more in depth training in the workshops. Free registration includes lunch and all refreshments throughout the day.
The conference will also include the presentation of the Science Council Employer Champion status to Cardiff University by the Chair of the Science Council and presentation of certificates to those who have achieved professional registration.
Attached is this year’s programme (a few details still to be added), so you can see all the great workshops that are on offer and decide what you would like to attend on the day. It’s a great opportunity to learn something new, talk to a range of suppliers showcasing their latest products, meet technical staff from across the University and beyond and get a great lunch.
There are only 2 weeks left to book your place so click on the link and get your ticket – https://tinyurl.com/y2vwrcho
