NEWS: Introduction to the RSG blog

“Hello, and welcome” to the blog conceived and designed to serve the Research Staff Group (RSG) of the School of Biosciences within the College of Biomedical & Life Sciences, part of Cardiff University.

Who are we, and what do we do? – Well, in a nutshell “provide support for all fixed and open term contract research staff within the School”, which in practice means the provision of a voice through advocacy, the dissemination of information (both general and career specific) useful to research staff. On the tag marked ‘Research Staff Group Remit‘ you will find a link through the committee, including the current Chair and Co-Chair along with the representatives of the four divisions within the School (Molecular Biology, Neurosciences, Organisms and the Environment, and Pathophysiology and Repair).

Please explore and moreover engage with the content providing us with as much feedback and input as possible (sensible contributions are more than welcome).

This blog will in no small measure be shaped by the community so that it most authentically represents the RSG community here in the School of Biosciences.
