Selecting Against Dynamics

Our new paper in Chemical Science examines the kinetic parameters of dihydrofolate reductase enzymes from different organisms. Whilst some have suggested that dynamic coupling is a key tool for explaining enzyme activity, our results suggests that evolution has actually minimised dynamic effects.
