Role:<\/strong> Learning Technology Officer \u2013 <\/strong>joined CESI 2014, been with the University for 16+ years <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your role in the CESI team? <\/strong>
I work with academic staff across the university to enhance their teaching through the use of appropriate technology and learning design techniques. I work on a large variety of online and digital projects at any one time, along with staff development, online course development (MOOCs, CPD), programme development and redesign, learning activity design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Describe a project you have been involved that you have enjoyed\u00a0<\/strong>
There have been far too many to list, but I love working with our staff here at the University to improve the student experience. I\u2019m very lucky to have worked with so many Schools and departments during my time here, and also spent 2 weeks working with the e-learning team in the University of Namibia (UNAM) for the Phoenix Project.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fact about yourself? <\/strong>
My other life involves playing music for various bands. I once went on tour where we played improvised music for over two hours per night with a Krautrock legend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rwy’n gweithio gyda staff academaidd ar draws y brifysgol i wella eu haddysgu trwy ddefnyddio technoleg a thechnegau dylunio dysgu priodol. Rwy’n gweithio ar amrywiaeth fawr o brosiectau ar-lein a digidol ar unrhyw un adeg, ynghyd \u00e2 datblygu staff, datblygu cyrsiau ar-lein (MOOCs, DPP), datblygu rhaglenni ac ailgynllunio a dylunio gweithgaredd dysgu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disgrifiwch brosiect rydych chi wedi bod yn rhan ohono rydych chi wedi’i fwynhau<\/strong>
Bu llawer gormod i’w rhestru, ond rwyf wrth fy modd yn gweithio gyda’r staff yma yn y Brifysgol i wella profiad myfyrwyr. Rwy’n ffodus iawn fy mod wedi gweithio gyda chymaint o Ysgolion ac adrannau yn ystod fy amser yma, a hefyd wedi treulio 2 wythnos yn gweithio gyda’r t\u00eem e-ddysgu ym Mhrifysgol Namibia (UNAM) i’r Phoenix Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
