Steps you can take to avoid gender bias in recommendation letters

We all do it, without even thinking about it. We gravitate to different types of words and expressions when describing women’s accomplishments than when we talk about men’s. Our scrips are gendered. It’s called implicit bias. Here’s some advice on how to correct for it.
