Croeso!

20131210_081805Wel, mae 6 mis wedi hedfan ers i mi gychwyn  yn y swydd ma’ ac yn hen bryd i mi rannu datblygiadau diddordol yn natblygiad addysg feddygol cyfrwng Cymraeg!

Rydw i wedi cael amser difyr ers ymuno gyda’r Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol a’r Ysgol Feddygol mis Medi 2013 yn ceisio darganfod sut gallwn ni gynnig fwy o gyfleoedd i gynyddu’r ddarpariaeth cyfrwng Cymraeg er mwyn sicrhau y gall meddygon y dyfodol diwallu anghenion dwyieithog cleifion Cymru yn unol gyda ymrwymiad Llywodraeth Cymru.

Mae sawl un ohonoch wedi bod yn hael iawn gyda eich amser a’ch barn, ac mae’r blog yma yn gam bwysig i mi rannu beth rydw i wedi darganfod, a chael mwy o adborth wrth gwrs. Fyddai’n croesawu unrhyw sylwadau a fyddwn yn falch iawn i glywed gan unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb mewn cyfrannu gyda syniadau.

Having been in post for 6 months- where does time go?!- I thought it was high time I started a blog to share the developments in Welsh medium medical education at Cardiff University.

So I’m Sara, and I started here at the Heath back in September 2013 through the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol’s Academic Staffing Scheme to take a good look at what we can do to develop the C21 committment to produce, attract and retain the best doctors for Wales. The first phase of my job is working out how we increase the opportunties to ensure that our future medics embody the Welsh Government’s commitment that Welsh speaking patients receive language sensitive services as a natural part of their care.

So many of you have given up your time to give me your opinion and thoughts and I look forward to carrying on these diverse conversations. I am always keen for suggestions and ideas- so please do get in touch!

Hwyl am y tro

Sara
