Meeting rooms at the Julian Hodge Study Centre

In addition to the large IT facility located on the second floor of the Julian Hodge Building, three bookable meeting rooms are available for group study work.

Each room is fitted with a suitable meeting table and networked computer, wireless connectivity is also available in each room. State of the art Wall-Talkers walls have been installed to allow easy brainstorming or effective presentation of information.

Meeting Rooms 1 and 2 will comfortably seat 4-6 people but for larger groups Meeting Room 3 will accommodate 6- 8 people and has the added benefit of a touch sensitive plasma screen which is ideal if you need to practice a presentation.

Who can use the rooms?

Any registered student may book the room for a maximum of two hours per day. Please see our code of conduct for further information regarding room usage.

How to book

Contact the Julian Hodge Study Centre to book a session in one of the rooms, alternatively have a chat with the staff in the Study Centre on the 2nd floor of the Julian Hodge building.

Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis and availability of a room can not be guaranteed on any one day. Bookings are only taken for groups of 2 or more students.  To access the meeting rooms you need to collect a key from the Julian Hodge Study Centre enquiry desk.  You are required to leave your University ID card as deposit and you will not be allowed to use a room if you fail to present a valid ID card.
