Our Education Centre is steadily expanding its courses. There’s a lot going on in our purpose-built space: simulation suite, teaching spaces and small conference suite.
Our vision is social, yes we have to pay the bills, yes we have to invest in equipment and space for the future, but after that the money comes back to good causes. What are our causes? 25% of what we make comes back to the School of Medicine for Education and Innovation, we also run free Clinical Innovation Wales events, the rest goes to making our courses ever more affordable to NHS Clinicians. If you’ve kept your eyes open, you will have noticed prices falling. This is a Social Enterprise for Education: but without lowering quality.
So then, come up and look at the unit, talk to us about running a course. We also give free courses/space for our supporters. In the meantime visit our website go to courses and sign up: http://blogs.cardiff.ac.uk/bmccu/
