As you may have noticed, the end of last week was quite a busy time.
I was delighted to join the excellent Sky News team at the Brecon and Radnor by-election count for their through-the-night coverage, and then for their All Out Politics show the following morning.
Following that, I also penned a few initial thoughts for the Spectator about the by-election: you can find them here: https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2019/08/the-liberal-democrats-win-the-brecon-and-radnorshire-by-election/
Later that Friday, I was also very pleased to appear on the Radio 4 PM show, alongside Evan Davis, to try to put the by-election result in a broader context. You can hear my contribution here (from 7 mins 50 in): https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00076vb
And on Sunday I was very glad to be able to discuss Welsh politics at some length for the weekend edition of Good Morning Scotland. You can hear my contribution here (just after 1:32 into the show): https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0007by7
Now, back to the day job – for a while at least…
