The computational social science blog provides informative articles written by researchers who are utilising big social data within their research. These articles are being published to broaden knowledge amongst the social science community within the flourishing subject area of computational social science. Furthermore, the computational social science blog also provides access to DataCamp courses on both R and Python programming free of charge for Cardiff University academics and students. The courses on offer currently range from beginner to intermediate difficulty, there are also task specific courses on ‘statistics’, ‘text mining’ and ‘cleaning data’.
