Genome Editing workshop 21 Sept 2017 2-5pm HEB

If you use CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing in Cardiff or want to add this tool to your research this workshop is a “must attend” event. Cardiff University recently supported a bid for a CRISPR gene editing facility through the Research Infrastructure Fund. This equipment allows simple gene knockout in cell lines of choice and amplification of lentiviral libraries for whole genome CRISPR. As there has been so much interest in gene editing from across the university we agreed to put on this workshop to introduce the technique and what it is capable of. The event is sponsored by Thermo Fisher who will provide the refreshments during the networking session and demonstrate how some of new equipment we have works and what it is capable of.

Whilst this is a free event we would really appreacite you registering as soon as possible to ensure we can provide sufficient refreshments for the networking session after the talks.
