Dr Chris Pepper was quoted extensively in the Western Mail this week in an article all about the Cardiff Cancer Reserach UK Centre. Chris talks about our CLL research. Professor Malcolm Mason and Professor Alan Clarke were also interviewed and described the high quality prostate cancer and colon cancer research in Cardiff.

I made a small donation to support the work of Wikipedia. As part of the thank you email, I learned about a joint project between Wikipedia and Cancer Research UK. This project aims to improve the quality of cancer information on-line. I also learned about the the CRUK blog. Supporting the fundraisers….

Last Saturday, my daughter and I had the tough job of attending the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Concert with Carols at St David’s Hall. The concert was organised by the Cardiff branch of the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. There was performances by the Morriston Orpheus Choir, the BTM Band and a very talented young choir
