I am learning more about Acute Myeloid Leukaemia at the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Grantholders’ Day. It’s a whole day of talks from Experts in this disease. As I write, Professor David is talking about potentially curing patients with acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL). Very interesting. There has been many mentions of colleagues at Cardiff University, particularly Professor Alan Burnett and Dr Robert Hills.
