Preparing for Exams- Self help methods to keep calm and succeed

We recently blogged here news that a positive outcome was found on patients who used self help books to manage symptoms of depression.

It doesn’t take a leap of faith to apply the same method for managing stress and anxiety at exam or busy times when we are learning something new or tricky.

We have a number of books in our collection to help you with this; subject specific ones too.

Use Librarysearch.cf.ac.uk

Search for the following keywords to find something;

  • Study Skills
  • Managing Stress
  • Managing Anxiety
  • Mindfulness
  • Revision Aid
  • Memory Skills
  • Exam Stress

You can then refine results by subject or library held.

You will also find a list of more general self help books here which are in our collections.
