What is being done?

Minor change to authentication services

When is it being done?
Tuesday, 3rd September – 15:30 – 15:50

Who will be affected?
All users of Portal and Shibboleth (single sign on)

How will this affect users?
When the change is applied at 15:50, access to all portal services will pause for a few seconds, after which portal services will not work for users already logged in before the change was applied. They will need to log out and back in again.

Why is it being done?
This is to prepare for the forthcoming Office 365 upgrade.
