Getting started with Datastream

Datastream broadly contains 3 different types of data: Company (known as equities), Economics and Finance. Examples: Company data – share price for Tesco, total assets for Apple, corporate social responsibility information on Rio Tinto Economic data – Real GDP for South Africa, consumer price index for China Finance data: Gold prices, US Dollar to Japanese
